As lot of sunlight and wind are available freely in Jaffna/Kokuvil,we should promote windpowered/solar generators(small,medium,big) for shops,offices,schools,water pumps etc which will save electricity bills. What we need is a battery for storing the electricity(dc) and use it by converting into ac by an inverter.
